Here at Cockney Green we pride ourselves on working with local schools, businesses and residence to brighten up dull, lifeless spaces within the community.

We work with a group of Artists to provide unique murals, canvases and installations.

We offer a range of educational workshops suitable for schools and businesses.

MEET THE CREW

KATHRYN MGUINNESS BA(Hons) PGCE

Kathryn studied Art and Design at Chelsea College of Art, obtained BA(hons) at The London College of Printing and later completed PGCE Secondary Art and Design at Greenwich University. With over 20 years’ experience in the Art and Design industry. After 15 year of teaching Kathryn decided to change paths and set up her own design and print company specialising in event stationery. From 2014 to 2018 Kathryn was the recommended stationery designer for Stationers Hall and Institute of Directors. Kathryn has a passion for community Art and is a great believe that Art is therapy and should be accessible to all. Kathryn has organised and executed several community art projects working closely with British Rail, Transport for London and local Schools in Bermondsey.

ALAN DAVIES

Is an urban Cockney artist born and breed in London who has a vision of opening the gates to the creative world making it accessible to everyone! Removing the stigma that you need a formal education to be recognised as an Artist. He has a passion for Music, Art and Food! He has spent many years exploring the music industry developing knowledge and skills that can only be taught while being part of the industry. He secured his first record deal at the age of 16 and has since continued to develop his talents in the urban music industry. Alan is a successful Urban Artist in his own rights with artwork exhibited across Europe.

CORPORATE

We work closely with your Art consultant to provide your company with the perfect collection. We have a range of Artists with various styles and disciplines to suit all corporate needs from marketing to large scale murals.

COMMISSIONED

Commissioned Art is unique and brings a personal touch to any workspace, home or community space. We understand commissioned Artwork is a personal experience, our team of Artists will work closely with you through the entire process to bring your vision to life!

WORKSHOPS

Workshops start from £300 for up to 15 people.

Suitable for Adults and Children age 10yrs plus.
We include all materials and all participants will have a piece of Art to take home.
We offer : beginners and intermediate level

Street Art/ Graffiti workshops 2.5hrs £300

T shirt printing 2.5hrs £300

Mod Roc sculptures 2 days (2.5hr per day) £500

We also offer large scale sculpture workshops. Such as a dragon, animal, mythical creatures. These group workshops are great for encouraging the whole class to work together as a team to design and build a large paper mache sculputre to be displayed in the school or local community space.
Depending on size from 5hrs per day over 4 days £1000.

Our workshops are great as an introduction to and development of a range of art and design techniques.
The development of soft skills like self-discipline and perseverance
Loads of fun and the opportunity to be creative with range of materials.
Having the opportunity to express ourselves in a creative manner aids emotional development and improved confidence.

Cockney Green aims to bring resources to less privileged communities to give them an opportunity, platform to shine through a range of pop-up Events.

WINDOW PAINTING

Window painting is cost-effective, socially engaging, and aesthetically pleasing. It also goes a long way in compelling customers to walk into your establishment. Our team of Artists will work with you to develop a unique design that suits your budget and style.

SIGN WRITTING AND RESTORATION

Alan is a qualified stone cleaner and restorer. Alan is one of a few people that still use traditional methods and hold the British Heritage certificate. With over 25 years of experience we can restore vintage signs using a range of techniques.

We also make bespoke signs from paint, wood, metal and work with you to design and build the perfect sign.
